2 Year Anniversary

December 20, 2010 –

2 years ago, I committed to P90X. I had lost my way and frankly I had put alot of pressure on the program. My expectations were pretty high. But I would have never thought I would end up here 2 years later. I haven’t counted the number of times I have missed a workout in 2 years, but I can probably do it on one hand. It has truly become a lifestyle for me. It has brought me balance. And i am a better (and healthier) person today because of it.

In November 2010, I decided to become a coach and Pay It Forward. And I had no idea where that experience would take me. I am absolutely honored and humbled  to be so many people’s coach and to help them through their journey.

I looked back on my Day 1 of Chest & Back and it is hard to believe where I started. (See below!) All my pull-ups where assisted and most of my push-ups where on my knees.

So, do I have advice for anyone just starting? All, I can say is this. BE BRAVE! It takes courage to take a big step into the unknown. It takes courage to want to change. It takes courage to stick with it against all odds. And above all, brace the headwinds to make it to Day 90. Because on Day 91, it becomes a lifestyle!
