SO Tropical Update

January 22, 2012 –

To the right, you will see a picture that Carl Daikeler (CEO) posted of Shakeology Tropical. This has been a long time coming. I originally posted about this back in June at the Beachbody Summit (Click HERE for that post that includes the announcement of the product.)

Since June, we have found out alot of new information about this product.

– It will be a VEGAN formula (you can see the ‘V” on the right side of the bag). They have replaced Whey Protein with Fermented Sprouted Brown Rice Protein. This protein has the highest bioavailability of any protein. I have been using it from a company called Sun Warrior. It is far superior to Whey.

– Because of the cost of Sprouted Brown Rice Protein, the price on this version increases from the current $4.00 per day to $4.30 per day.

– Shakeology Tropical will be called “Tropical Strawberry”

– This will be the first of a line product placed in the Beachbody “Ultimate” line. This line will be reserved for the best of the best.

– This formula (outside of the protein source) has other extra goodies and is superior to the current Greenberry and Chocolate.

– Carl also mentioned to us on our Super Saturday plane ride that they are looking to bring a Vegan Chocolate flavor.

– Lastly, the product will be available on Home Direct and for one-time purchase  Februrary 14, 2012!

I highly recommend that you listen to the MP3 below to hear Carl talk about the product. In fact, he mentions that he told the select few of us who were able to go on the plane ride with him the same thing. There is so much passion and hard work that went into not only get a great tasting Vegan formula, but also ensure the highest quality of ingredients.
