Interesting Question. I was reading alot about a Whole Food / Plant-Based Diet and found the “Forks Over Knives” documentary a real catalyst for me to try it out. I wanted to try it myself and form my own opinion. So back last October I gave it a try. I did a 30 Day Vital Cleanse in November with Melissa Costello (I have a blog on that experience.) I did that 90 day journey with other people as well. When Jan 1 rolled around, I had taught myself how to cook and how to travel (I travel alot with work) with this diet. I had learned how to get enough protein and fuel my workouts properly. And I honestly really liked it. I didn’t miss meat. I was only eating one serving of chicken or fish a day anyway and I had been off dairy for a while. So, now it is June 1, and I still enjoy it. Will I be Vegan forever? I dont know. But I like it now. If you are interested, I’d be happy to trade some emails or even have a phone call. I dont think it is for everyone, but I can speak for myself when I say that I have enjoyed it for the past 8 months.
