Snap and Measure

May 21, 2011 –

I encourage everyone to make sure you take your pictures and write down your measurements before you start. This is your Day -1 activity!  I remember feeling very awkward doing it when I first started. But when you measure every 30 days and see your “before” and “after” photos, it is inspires you to do more. After all your blood, sweat, and tears, you are going to want to see the changes. Trust me!

Another thing it did was have me say good-bye to the old me. I look back on my photos and am still inspired from what I did. And when doubts enter my mind as to whether I can do something, I look back on the those pictures as a reminder.

Here are (2) great videos on HOW to take your photos and measurements. When you have completed your program, send them to me. I would love to see your progress.

You will need the following equipment:

1) Good Digital Still Camera (One with a timer if you are taking the pictures alone.)

2) Plain Background in your house

3) Meaursement Tape

4) Body Fat Calipers. I had to buy mine from Beachbody as I couldn’t find one at a story. Click HERE if you need one. This is the only true way of measuring body fat. Scales aren’t very accurate.
